Your independently-verified badge

Show that you’re verified

Add a badge to your website to show visitors your license is independently verified — and link back to your Registry profile. Pick a size, copy the code, and paste it into your site’s HTML.

Where to put it — read this first

  1. Footer first. Paste the code into your sitewide footer and it appears on every page — including the page our system checks. This is the placement that works first try.
  2. We check one exact page: the website address you gave us when you claimed your profile. A badge that’s only on a different page (like About) can’t be found.
  3. Paste the code exactly as given. Don’t download the badge image and upload it to your own site — our check looks for the image served from Neighborhood Registry, and a self-hosted copy won’t be detected.
  4. After you publish, run the check below — it runs the same test our system runs every day and tells you on the spot whether it worked.
WordPress

Appearance → Widgets (or Customizer → Footer) → add a Custom HTML block to a footer area → paste the code → Save/Publish. If your theme has a “Footer HTML” or “Insert Headers and Footers” field, that works too.

Wix

Select the footer → Add → Embed → Embed HTML → paste the code → place it inside the footer so it repeats on every page → Publish.

Squarespace

Hover the footer → Edit Footer → add a Code block → paste the code (display source code OFF) → Save.

GoDaddy Website Builder

Add a section to the footer area → choose HTML / Embed custom code → paste the code → Done → Publish. Make sure the section is in the footer, not just one page.

Custom site / your webmaster

Paste the snippet, unchanged, into the site’s footer HTML — anywhere before </body> that renders on every page. It’s a plain link + image: no script, no iframe.

Full badge

Best for a footer, sidebar, or your About page.

On a dark background? Change -light to -dark in the code.

Fits a tighter spot or a credentials line.

Check my install

Run the exact check our system runs every day against your website. It looks at the page below and reports what it finds — if something’s wrong, it tells you what and how to fix it.

Your certificate

A printable certificate of your verified status — your license number, the issuing authority, when you were verified and when your next re-check falls — with a QR code anyone can scan to see your live verification record.

Paste the code into your website’s HTML wherever you want the badge to appear. It’s a normal link and image — nothing to install. Questions? Just reply to the email we sent you.
