Chenal Valley sits in the City of Little Rock (ZIP 72223), but school zoning splits by exact address between two districts. Most of Chenal Valley is in the Pulaski County Special School District: Chenal Elementary (21201 Denny Road) feeds Joe T. Robinson Middle School and Joe T. Robinson High School. A pocket of the community is in the Little Rock School District: Don R. Roberts Elementary (16601 LaMarche Drive) feeds Pinnacle View Middle School and Little Rock West High School. LRSD redrew its high-school zones in 2026 ahead of the new Little Rock West High School opening (scheduled for fall 2027), so confirm any specific address's assignment with the district before buying.

Chenal Valley itself also includes community parks, pools and neighborhood trails.
