Welcome to Neighborhood Registry (“Neighborhood Registry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), at neighborhoodregistry.com (the “Site”). By accessing the Site, creating a listing, or submitting any content, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What Neighborhood Registry is

Neighborhood Registry is a directory of licensed real estate agents, loan officers, insurance agents, and service pros. Listings marked “Verified” have had their professional license checked against public records maintained by the issuing authority (for example, a state real estate commission, the NMLS, or a state department of insurance) as of the date shown on the profile. Verification confirms licensure only; it is not an endorsement, a guarantee of service quality, or a promise of any outcome. Professionals listed on the Site are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Neighborhood Registry.

2. Eligibility and listing claims

To claim or hold a listing you must hold a current, active license of the type your listing states, in the state your listing states. One professional per role is listed per neighborhood. By claiming a listing you represent that the information you submit — including name, license number, firm or agency, and service area — is accurate and current, and you authorize us to verify your license against public records at claim time and on a recurring basis afterward. If your license lapses, is suspended, or is revoked, your Verified status and listing may be suspended or removed without notice.

3. Content you submit — ownership, authorization, and the license you grant us

You may submit content to the Site, including headshots, photographs, logos, videos, business information, posts, and reviews (“Your Content”).

You keep ownership. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Your Content to us.

You confirm you have the right to submit it. By uploading or submitting any photo, image, logo, or video, you represent and warrant that you own it or are otherwise authorized to use it and to grant the rights in this section — including that you have the permission of any photographer, brokerage, agency, or other rights holder, and of any identifiable person shown.

You grant us a license to use it. You grant Neighborhood Registry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, crop, resize, display, publish, distribute, and promote Your Content in connection with the Site and the promotion of the Site and your listing — including on social media, in advertising, and in search and AI indexing — for as long as your listing is active and for a reasonable period afterward for records and previously distributed materials.

Removal. You may ask us to remove specific content at any time by contacting us; we will remove it from active display within a reasonable time, subject to the archival and already-distributed exceptions above.

4. The Verified badge

On approval we provide a “Independently Verified” badge and embed code for your own website. You may display the badge only while your listing is active and Verified, only in the form provided, and only on a website you control that accurately represents you. You must remove the badge promptly if your listing or Verified status ends. Misuse of the badge — including displaying it after suspension or in a way that implies verification of a different person, business, or claim — is grounds for immediate removal.

5. Reviews

Reviews must come from real clients describing real experiences. You may not submit, solicit, or pay for reviews that are false, misleading, or not based on a genuine client relationship, and you may not review your own listing. We may remove reviews that violate this section or that we cannot tie to a genuine interaction.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person or business; claim a listing for a license you do not hold; scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect Site data except through the public API in accordance with its terms; interfere with the Site’s operation; upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that contains another person’s private information without their consent; or upload malicious code.

7. Copyright takedowns

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, contact us at the email below with the work claimed to be infringed, the URL of the material, and your contact information and a good-faith statement. We will remove or disable access to material that infringes, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and may terminate repeat infringers.

8. Our content

The Site’s design, text, methodology, data compilations, and branding are owned by Neighborhood Registry or its licensors and may not be copied or reused except as these Terms allow.

9. No warranties; limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” License data is drawn from public records that may contain errors or delays, and we do not warrant that verification information is complete or current at any given moment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neighborhood Registry is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, reliance on a listing, or any transaction between a visitor and a listed professional. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neighborhood Registry from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the badge, or your violation of these Terms — including any claim that a photo, logo, or other content you submitted infringed a third party’s rights.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; the current version will always be posted at this page with its revision date, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or remove any listing or content at our discretion, including for a lapsed license, a badge violation, or content we reasonably believe infringes another’s rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
