Best License-Verified Realtors in Frisco, Texas (October 2026)

The short answer: As of October 28, 2026, Neighborhood Registry has read the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) record of every realtor ranked below and found each license Active. Two Frisco realtors have also claimed and verified their Registry profiles — Jenny Lynn Dowdy (Frisco Lakes) and Shahla Ghademi (Panther Creek) — and five more hold Frisco licenses we checked at TREC in October 2026. This is the only Frisco realtor ranking we know of that is built entirely from the issuing authority’s own records, with the license number and check date printed next to every name.

How this ranking works

Most “best realtors in Frisco” lists are assembled from advertising placements, review counts copied from other websites, or pay-to-play directories. This ranking is assembled from exactly one thing: the license record at the Texas Real Estate Commission, read directly by Neighborhood Registry.

  • Eligibility. A realtor is eligible only if we have read their record in TREC’s own system and found the license Active. No realtor can pay to be listed, apply for a rank, or be added by request.
  • Tier A — Verified & Claimed. The license is verified at TREC and the realtor has claimed their Registry profile, confirmed their details, and maintains it. Tier A always ranks above Tier B.
  • Tier B — License-Checked. We have read the license at TREC and found it Active, but the realtor has not yet claimed their profile. The license data is identical in quality; the profile is not yet maintained by the pro.
  • Order inside a tier is mechanical and published: (1) neighborhood seats held in Frisco; (2) most recent TREC check; (3) time on the Registry (first-verified date); (4) alphabetical. Every input to every score is printed in the entries above, so any reader can re-sort the list and check our arithmetic.
  • Freshness. Licenses are re-checked weekly and formally re-verified every 12 months. A license that lapses, is suspended, or picks up a disciplinary action removes the realtor from this ranking at the next re-check — not at the next edition. This page is re-issued monthly; this is the October 2026 edition, built from checks dated October 18–28, 2026.

How to verify a Frisco realtor’s license yourself

You do not need us for this check. TREC’s License Holder Search at trec.texas.gov is free, public, and takes about a minute:

  1. Ask the agent for their legal name and license number. Texas law expects the number on their marketing; an agent who will not produce it has answered your question already.
  2. Search TREC’s License Holder Search by name or license number. The number search is the most precise.
  3. Read the status. Active means licensed and authorized. Also confirm the broker shown on the record matches the brokerage the agent works under — a salesperson can only practice under their sponsoring broker.
  4. Note the expiration date and any disciplinary history the record shows.

What does a buyer’s agent cost in Frisco?

There is no standard commission in Texas, and there never has been a lawful fixed rate — compensation is negotiable between you and your brokerage, and it must now be in writing before you tour homes. Since August 17, 2024, agents working with buyers must sign a written buyer agreement that states exactly how much the buyer’s broker will be paid and by whom, and seller offers of buyer-agent compensation no longer appear in the MLS. In Texas you will also receive two TREC disclosures at first contact: the Information About Brokerage Services (IABS) notice and the Consumer Protection Notice — an agent who cannot produce them is not operating the way TREC requires. Ask any Frisco agent, including everyone ranked above, three questions: What is your total fee? Who pays it? What happens to it if the seller offers less? Frisco schools, briefly

Most of Frisco is zoned to Frisco ISD, which earned an A in the Texas Education Agency’s 2025 accountability ratings — the largest Texas district to receive an A, with every campus rated A or B. In Panther Creek, the campuses most often published for the neighborhood are Sem Elementary and Maus Middle School; high-school assignment varies by street, so verify the zoned campuses for a specific address with Frisco ISD before you rely on them. Red flags when hiring a Frisco realtor

  • No license number anywhere. Texas agents put their TREC number on their marketing. Its absence is the first and cheapest check you can run.
  • A name that does not match the TREC record. Nicknames are fine in person; the record must match the person, and the broker on the record must match the brokerage on the sign.
  • Pressure to skip the written buyer agreement. It is required. An agent who waves it off is asking you to give up the document that fixes their fee.
  • Fees wired to a personal account. Earnest money and fees move through brokerages and title companies, never to an individual’s personal account.

Frisco, in numbers

  • Population: 200,509 at the 2020 Census; an estimated 236,955 on July 1, 2025 — up 18.2% in five years (U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts V2025).
  • Median value of owner-occupied homes: $642,100 (Census ACS 2020–2024).
  • On this Registry: 14 realtors serving Frisco hold licenses read at TREC in October 2026 — 2 Verified & Claimed, 12 License-Checked. Two Frisco neighborhoods currently carry claimed realtor seats: Panther Creek and Frisco Lakes.
